Williamson

Williamson celebrates Christmas in an all-day extravaganza: the Mistletoe Market Festival.

Deals are a given, but you can also get into the seasonal spirit with live music, hot chocolate, cookies and a kids’ scavenger hunt. As you shop, you might run into Mr. and Mrs. Claus and characters from “Frozen.” When you’re finished for the day, join the community for a Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Charleston

Parkersburg’s historic downtown is a one-stop savings shop for Small Business Saturday. Browse the artisan works and sample tasty fare from local farmers and bakers at the Point Park Marketplace.

Parkersburg Art Center will save you money and time this season. Not only are they sharing great deals in their gift shop, they’ll also wrap them for free. They’ll even have a local artist pop-up shop roundup, so you can find plenty of variety and head home with tree-ready picks for everyone on your list.

Kids and kids at heart will love a playful present from Classic Plastics Toy Store— and you’ll love the sales and discounts on vintage and brand-new action figures, comics, model cars and more!

Cap your all-local shopping spree with a cheers to the city’s newest small business, Parkersburg Brewing Company. They’ll have dark malt, pale ale, and tangy Citrus Tsunami beer, plus warm paninis, homemade Bavarian pretzel bites and desserts.

Morgantown

Morgantown takes Small Business Saturday savings to the extreme with free gifts. Feeling lucky? Spend $25 or more on Main Street Morgantown, and you could win a downtown gift basket— they’re worth $500 each!

Bonus: parking is free all weekend, too!

Be sure to stop by the Old Stone House Gift Shop to stack on some discounts. This historic boutique evokes plenty of Christmas charm: Large glass ornaments hang from the low ceilings, while stuffed polar bears, Santa Claus statues, and silvery trees and bells tucked into every open space.
