Capon Springs & Farms is a historic, all-inclusive mountain resort in Hampshire County, West Virginia, renowned for its “healing” alkaline mineral waters and its “step back in time” atmosphere. Established in the 19th century and managed by the Austin family since 1932, the 4,700-acre retreat operates with a focus on unplugging; it lacks in-room electronics and features limited cell service to encourage personal connection. Guests are summoned to family-style meals by a dinner bell and can enjoy a variety of traditional activities including golf, hiking, shuffleboard, and soaking in the spring-fed pool or the Hygeia Bath House & Spa.
