Best Mountain Towns: Elkins
Head down to a beloved mountain town, Elkins, recognized by Southern Living for its charm and unique culture. Don’t waste any time before heading to the nearby Monongahela National Forest, where outdoor recreation is around every corner. Best Mountain Towns: Fayetteville

Spend your day in the beautiful and lush New River Gorge National Park & Preserve, where everything from rafting to rock climbing is possible! After a full day by the water, head to Pies and Pints for a gourmet pizza pie and your selection of WV’s finest craft brews. Wrap up the evening with a stroll around town, checking out the shops including the eclectic Hobbit Hole.
