The West Virginia Trail Festival (WV Trail Fest) is a family-oriented annual trail running event that occur every May in the heart of Pocahontas County, WV! Race distances include 100K, 60K, 30K, 5K and Kids Mile.
Other weekend activities will include a movie night, kids activities, a ride on the Cass Historic Railroad, awards ceremony, and Mother’s Day brunch. This is a unique one-of-a-kind experience that highlights West Virginia’s beautiful and mountainous landscape and her unique history: West Virginia’s beautiful State Parks, the beautiful Monongahela National Forest, Cass Historic Railroad, the Green Bank Observatory (GBO), the historic local fire towers, Snowshoe Ski Resort, and Pocahontas County.
