Fairytales & Fables - June 20, 2026

Step into a world of magic, adventure, and imagination at Fairytales & Fables, a storybook-inspired museum experience designed for families of all ages. Throughout the day, guests can explore immersive fairytale-themed activities, meet beloved princess characters (provided by Putnam Princess Parties), and surprise guests, and enjoy hands-on experiences that bring classic stories to life through art, science, play, and performance.

Families can create their own kingdoms during Magic Carpets & Castles in the Makerspace, test their skills at Scotland’s Archery Academy, and enjoy rotating Grimm Brothers’ StoryTime sessions featuring a different tale each hour. Guests can also make their own Plasma Sabers and cool off with Snow Queen’s Frozen Treats available throughout the event.

Additional themed activities and character experiences throughout the museum will encourage creativity, curiosity, and shared family fun while transforming the museum into an enchanting world of fairytales and fables.
