Burgoo Cook-Off - October 8, 2022

The annual cook-off is held Columbus Day weekend in October each year. Burgoo is a highly seasoned stew made of any combination of fowl, game, other meats and vegetables. There are cash prizes for the tastiest burgoo stews and apple pies. There is also a scarecrow contest, children’s activities, applebutter making, pumpkin painting, arts and crafts, live music and more.
