2026 HERD and HOPS BEER MILE - October 3, 2026

The Herd and Hops Beer Mile is a spirited, community-driven race that blends athleticism, fun, and West Virginia’s craft beer scene. Presented by the Marshall University Southern Coalfields Alumni Big Green Club and hosted by The Freefolk Brewery, the race will include a one-mile relay with a beer pit stop along the way! Each team member will run or walk 1/4 mile and chug a beer. (Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.)
