North Bend State Park home to the 72-mile rail trail is the perfect place to explore! Popular with bicyclists and horseback riders, the North Bend Rail Trail passes through wooded backcountry, numerous tunnels and charming small towns. After you time on the trail, head over to the Veteran’s Museum of Mid-Ohio Valley  to explore over 1,700 square feet of exhibit space that honors veterans from all military branches since World War I.



Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park is an Almost Heaven gem. Enjoy a ferryboat ride which transports visitors across the Ohio River to the Harman Blennerhassett mansion. Once on the island visitors may enjoy tours of the grounds and mansion, and horse-drawn carriage rides. After your time on the island, ride back to the mainland and take in a flick at the historic Robey Theatre—the nation’s oldest continuously operating movie theater.
