CHARLESTON, West Virginia (October 20, 2016) – Wild, Wonderful West Virginia today released the Real. Martinsburg vignette. The video highlights area attractions including For the Kids, By George Children’s Museum, Black Draft Distillery, De Fluri’s Fine Chocolates and Orr’s Farm Market.
“Martinsburg is the perfect getaway for couples and families, and it’s only a short drive from the DC metro area,” Commissioner of Tourism Amy Shuler Goodwin said. “You can enjoy golf, fishing, shopping and spas amidst beautiful rolling hills steeped in Civil War and railroad history.”
“We are fortunate to have activities that appeal to a wide variety of interests, from hiking to Devil’s Nose in Sleepy Creek, to geocaching, to the art scene or farmers markets. There are events going on almost every weekend of the year,” Laura Gassler, Executive Director of the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Convention and Visitors Bureau, said.
