The New River is one of the oldest rivers in the world and the Gauley River is one of the wildest rivers to raft, both have iconic whitewater rapids. When rafting the New and Gauley Rivers, there are plenty of options for lodging and rafting in the always beautiful New River Gorge area. These trails also lead to you to ATV friendly towns as well as historic locations like Bramwell, which was once home to the most millionaires per capita of any town in the country.
