WV Foodways:How Beans and Cornbread Shaped WV Settlement, Past and Present

Celebrate WV Day by exploring the history of our local area. Author and Historian Shannon C. Tinnell will use old letters, pictures, recipes, and archives to illustrate how beans, cornbread, and greens played a key role in the area’s history. Enjoy samples of these impactful foods and learn about foraging and saving seeds. The event costs $30 for WVBG members and $40 for non-members. Pre-registration is required.
