State Park Clean Up Day

Get a little fresh air, meet new friends and help clean up your state park by taking part in a clean-up event. remove litter from park trails, Pendleton Lake, parking lots, lawns that are just as important as removal of roadside litter because all of this debris eventually ends up in our waterways and is detrimental to wildlife. You don’t need to join an organized event, simply carry a trash bag with you on your journey and pick up what others have left behind on our trails, rivers, beaches and roads. Trash bags and gloves available at Harold Walters Nature Center during regular business hours.
