Romeo Must Hang: The Harry Powers Documentary

The horror story of a serial killer and his Murder Farm located in Quiet Dell, West Virginia that transfixed an entire nation for months in the 1930s. A story that came to be immortalized in a classic Hollywood film (Night of the Hunter, starring Robert Mitchum). This documentary screening highlights the horrific history and trial of Harry Powers and includes a post-film discussion with the film’s director, Bob Wilkinson, and producers, Robert & Jeff Tinnell. The Clarksburg History Museum will also be unveiling their new Harry Powers exhibit and provide guided bus trips to the Murder Farm site.

Bus tours of the Murder Farm site will be held from 5:00–6:30 with buses leaving the museum every half hour

The Clarksburg History Museum will be open from 10:00 am – 9:00pm for guests to view their newest exhibit featuring Harry Powers.
