The horror story of a serial killer and his Murder Farm located in Quiet Dell, West Virginia that transfixed an entire nation for months in the 1930s. A story that came to be immortalized in a classic Hollywood film (Night of the Hunter, starring Robert Mitchum). This documentary screening highlights the horrific history and trial of Harry Powers and includes a post-film discussion with the film’s director, Bob Wilkinson, and producers, Robert & Jeff Tinnell. The Clarksburg History Museum will also be unveiling their new Harry Powers exhibit and provide guided bus trips to the Murder Farm site.
