Homer, Elsie & Sonny The Mini Musical

This three-person mini musical is a 90-minute performance featuring the New York Times Best Selling Author Homer Hickam and fresh off the Broadway Stage, Carl Anthony Tramon, brings his vocal talents back to West Virginia as Sonny, and to complete the event Rhayne Thomas will reprise one of her favorite roles as Homer’s mother “Elsie Hickam’. Carl and Rhayne bring the music and songs from “Rocket Boys the Musical” and Homer will offer his thoughts and a bit of history on each of the pieces. Homer Hickam like many West Virginians is a natural storyteller, and this part of the mini musical is non-scripted which adds a certain level of excitement to each show. This will be the only performance of “Homer, Elsie, and Sonny this year in West Virginia. Homer’s just released book “Don’t Blow Yourself Up” will be available at the event and Homer will make himself ready to sign books both, pre and post show.
