City of Dunbar – National Kids to Parks Day

June 13, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

On June 13, 2020, the City of Dunbar’s Kids to Parks Day invites all children and adults to visit historic Wine Cellar Park and Laura Anderson Lake to participate in numerous activities demonstrating fun, adventure and historic values in the parks, i.e. fishing, campfire safety, hiking, picnicking, scavenger hunts and much more.

For nine years the City of Dunbar has participated in the National Kids to Parks Day mission launched by the National Park Trust.  The mission is to empower kids and encourage families to lead a more active lifestyle and combat issues of childhood health issues while broadening the children’s appreciation of nature and better stewardship of America’s parks.
