Allegheny Echoes Summer Workshop - June 21, 2026

Allegheny Echoes is a week-long music and literature event that focuses on the Appalachian culture in both media. The event schedule comprises morning classes, afternoon workshops and evening events.

The morning classes are taught by some of the best-known West Virginia and Appalachian region instructors. Instruction is given in classes for guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, bass, vocal and creative writing. Evenings offer events such as concerts, jam sessions, literature readings, cookouts and dances. All events are free to the public.
