Educate Our Communities – Tourism Works
Program Overview
The West Virginia Department of Tourism is partnering closely with the West Virginia Community and Technical College System to develop a new widely accessible online hospitality and tourism course for West Virginians.
This free resource will be designed for everyone from ski instructors and raft guides to service station clerks and tourism entrepreneurs. It will help West Virginians gain new skills to build on what our communities already excel in – making visitors feel welcome and showcasing Almost Heaven for them to ensure they keep coming back.
These free online modules are expected to be available in fall of 2023.
