We welcome you to stay in our charming 130 year old farm house! Guests enjoy their stay in the 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home complete with a living space and wonderful views of the old barn and maple tree. Each guest receives a hot homemade breakfast. We welcome families. There is a back room available for small parties or gatherings for an additional $100 ($50 cleaning deposit required).

The Cellar House is available for $85 a night plus tax.

Please contact innkeeper about special rates for family reunions, weddings, and other full property rentals-2 day event rentals start at $575 plus tax ($100 cleaning deposit) includes accommodations for 8 for 2 nights plus breakfast.

Discover local restaurants, antique shopping, as well as kayaking, hiking and biking along the Elk river. Innkeepers also offer to build a camp fire and have a propane grill available upon request.

The Born Family welcomes you to "Pick Your Own Strawberries" Early May through Mid June. Bring your own container or purchase a basket. Farm Tours Spring and Fall for small and large groups. Farm Animal Petting area available during picking season. Already picked berries available for sale. Strawberry Jams and Syrups are made here in the kitchen of the Bed and Breakfast and available for sale year round (limited quantities).

Stay here in Clendenin and enjoy Elk River fishing and kayaking, hiking, biking, Antique stores, down town Clendenin-Moma Paynes home cooked food, Eat at Rolling Smoke Barbecue on the Elk River (Near Big Chimney), Mountaineer Auctions (check out Auctionzip and enter 25045 for schedule of Saturday morning live Auctions), Chicken in the Road hands on farm workshops (check out her website at www.chickensintheroad.com for schedule of amazing courses all year long).
