2019 Governor’s Conference on Tourism

We’re eager to release the plans for the 2019 Governor’s Conference on Tourism. This year, we are traveling to the breathtaking Potomac Highlands region — September 23-25, 2019. All industry partners are invited and are encouraged to save the date.

 

The Details

  • What: Each year, the Governor’s Conference on Tourism provides an opportunity for tourism industry partners to come together to find new and innovative ways to promote West Virginia as an almost heaven vacation destination. Sessions are designed to provide partners with educational and training opportunities on the latest trends and issues in the tourism industry, as well as dedicated time to network and collaborate on ways to work together to showcase West Virginia on a local, regional and national scale.

The cut-off date for making reservations is August 9, 2019, after which rooms will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

Stars of Almost Heaven Awards

The annual Stars of Almost Heaven Awards are an opportunity for the West Virginia Tourism Office and West Virginia Tourism Commission to recognize industry partners across the state for their achievements in advertising, marketing and public relations, as well as their contributions to the tourism industry in West Virginia.
